Wednesday bee

Hello Friends,

We met at my house today, this week only six people could make it must have been the warm weather it has been really a lovely sunny day, just what we needed.

This is a quilt by Jan really nice floral fabric and in lovely greens.

This is a small wall hanging made in delightful linen fabric can you guess who has made this??
Of course it's Liz my dear friend she manages to turn out a quilt a week.
Today I made banana cake which went down very well a bit of a come down after afternoon tea the other week.
This weekend it is May bank holiday, on Monday it's a holiday for most people, let hope the weather stays nice so we can all enjoy the lovely sunshine.
As you have probably noticed I am not sewing very much as I have other commitments, I would like to think I will back to normal by the end of May.
Keep calm and carry on sewing I will catch up with you after the holiday have a good week.

What a jolly day.

This would have been fantastic but the weather was freezing a sharp cold wind we were at Bawdswell garden centre they had a jazz afternoon. This is the jazz group they look frozen.

This is Ann drinking a ginger beer .

Ann and Paul just looking what is good to eat and drink.

You can see the group in the back ground it was not well attended. This must have due to cold it would have been packed if we have had a little sun.
The jazz group were excellent it makes such a difference when the sun shines let hope the weather changes soon.

A new cot quilt that I finished yesterday it has a lot of quilting on, I wonder if I have over done the quilting what do you think?
My next job is to give it a good press.

Thought I would add an extra photo of plants in my garden getting wet with the drizzly rain.
