The choice was amazing fine lawns to fine light weigh wool.
Pure delight for the sewist.

Also picture of lovely three and four story houses by the river all individual designed, very different.

Sunday Sewing

Just a few photo's from a workshop we did today you can see how different they look from the very bright to the more natural colours.
It was snails trail we did it with foundation peicing you trace the design onto stitch and tear and add the fabric just like sewing by numbers really good fun.
I used two colours some people where more adventure's and used 6 dark and 6 lights very good for using your scrap fabric up.

Blogging time

This is a block I have had fun making it is made with 4 fat quarters and it makes a 36" square so it would be very easy to make a larger quilt.
This would make a quick cot quilt 3 blocks by 5 with a small boarder made in a morning it is very quick to get together.
The pattern was given to me from one of my quilting friends that's what is so special about people who do patchwork and quilting they are so kind and willing to share they skills and pass on information.
Off to my group tomorrow so I should have more things to show you, until tomorrow have a good day happy sewing.

Back to normal more rain.!!!

Hi,
Rain again.
Added a few pictures to cheer everyone up the first London fabric and about 6 smaller batik very colourful.

A new cot quilt that I finished yesterday it has a lot of quilting on, I wonder if I have over done the quilting what do you think?
My next job is to give it a good press.

Thought I would add an extra photo of plants in my garden getting wet with the drizzly rain.

Have a good week and happy sewing. Hope your weather is much better than ours.
