Late as usual

Hi folks,

Sorry for not keeping up with my blog always have other things to do.

This is from last week Wednesday group it is a single quilt made by Liz she has completed it for someone else, it was a mystery quilt we did about 9 months ago and the lady is more into embroidery and did not want to finish it, lovely colours black and pink these are colour I would not have chosen .

This is my wall hanging using the curve ruler I did this at Friday class my monthly group I go to in suffolk, I really enjoyed doing it even the quilting.

This is a cross body bag very small and neat I did it
at Bungay at Sew and So our local patchwork who run workshops, these are my fabrics I love them Japanese woven.

This is the bag in the earlier stage with out the tab fastener and the draw string closer, it was made with double wadding that's why it stands up on its own, not good for the machine very thick to sew.
Really pleased with it.

This is just a mug rug I found a different way of binding it has piping by the side of the binding I did it on the wall hanging at the top of this post that had orange piping on it .
Its lovely doing things slight different a bit of a challenge just what we need to keep our crafting mojo going.
Happy crafting keep calm and carry on the good work catch up with next week.

  1. Do you have time to work? You've been so busy with quilting, and everything you produce is lovely. I bet you like that Japanese taupe bag! Adding piping to the bias binding is a smart way to add a bit more colour and 'extra' to the finish of a quilt.
