Hope you all had a great week this quilt was from my Thursday group I thought this was an interesting quilt lots of different and interesting things going on ,aplique, nice blocks, let me know what you think about it? (Please note: this quilt is at the bottom of the page as I blogged quickly from my phone It is difficult for me to get them in the right order from a small screen.)
Here are a selection from Duxford quilt show thats where I have been today it is usually held at Chilford , now changed to
to Duxford due to a fire. It was an excellent
venue very light and bright With lots of traders and lovely quilts.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite among the ones at the show at Duxford is the first one, black purple and aqua, there is order but life in it. Also I enjoyed seeing the sashiko waist coat, always fun to find new takes on old patterns.
Then the quilt from your Thursday group, as you say, there is a lot of interesting things going on. The colours are very attractive, too.

I am very fond of Appliqué so satisfying to see a picture or flower that you have created .
