Amish

This was an un-finished small Amish wall hanging which I started about18 months ago, it was at a class taken by Pipa Moss I have hand quilted it I am not that good at hand work.

I have also finished my Japanese quilt which I am thrilled with, I have added floating cherry blossom petals.
I have enjoyed quilting this as it is done with a large quilting stitch and seemed to flow better or in other word it was easier to complete.

Please stop by and let me know what you think about them also any suggestion would be helpful as it is good to get other people opinions.
The weather today in the UK is a little warmer we have had hardly any summer I am hoping for a good week weather wise.

Thought you might like to see my Yucca in full bloom.
Have a good week and happy sewing .

  1. Pippa Moss is a lovely person and very knowledgeable about hand quilting. I hope you enjoyed the class; your quilt is BEAUTIFUL!!!
So is your Japanese quilt. I like the floating cherry blossoms. I can imagine using the quilt for a picnic sheet under a blossoming cherry tree with the petals falling down on me!
You have green fingers! The Yucca is impressive!
